Back in September 2008, we thought it was about time an ALL GIRL TRIO'S was needed at Cheerleading competitions and who better to make one than......PINK POISON!
Lindsey Brogan, Becky Hawley and Faye Van Flute were called in to make the trio group. We trained for 6 weeks before entering the first competition: The BCA Southern Classics in Brighton! And the result....we came FIRST!!! The Pink Poison trio group beat stiff competition from a 2 male / 1 female trio who were fantastic themselves and gave a great competition. From their Trio's has gone from strength to strength winning their 2nd Champion trophy at BCA Northern Classics, Blackpool.
We are very proud of the group and they have shown girls can compete in Trios!!!
Pink Poison currently have 5 solo Cheerleaders. These girls train extremley hard at learning a new routine plus NEW tumbles. They then perform their routine alone on the 40ft x 40ft floor at all cheerleading events. At many competitions there are over 2,000 people watching from the stands.
The Pink Poison soloists are amazing and always come back with great results. Everyone is proud of them because it takes alot of courage, confidence and of course cheery faces to get on the floor and perform their routine!!
Fact: Harriet & Bethany McDonald our two longest competing soloists have won over 8 championship titles between them in the solo categories!!
