Way back in November 2008, our very own Pee Wee's were invited to audition for Britains Got Talent. After successfully winning over the executive producers they were shortlisted to take part in the next round. This round consisted of performing in front of a 2,000 strong live studio audience, the infamous panel of judges and the dreaded buzzers!

The day started with an early wake up call for everyone involved of around 6.00am. Surprisingly cheery for that time in the morning, we boarded our coach and headed over to The Lowry Theatre, Salford Quays, Greater Manchester. After lots of fun and games on the coach, we arrived at our destination to be greeted by floor managers, executive producers, researchers, film crews and one of the presenters Stephen Mulhern.

When escorted to The Digital World Centre, we were held in the 'holding room' whilst we took part in interviews and games for the film crews of ITV1 and ITV2. (Three words....Mums and press ups!!!!) Ha Ha. After being treated like celebrities we were taken to our very own dressing room, which had individual mirrors with lights dotted around!

Once ready, we were back in the 'holding room' with other acts and the film crews awaiting the arrival of the much loved Ant and Dec!!!   Ant and Dec spent a couple of hours chatting and interviewing all the acts in the holding room on camera. When it was our turn the pee wee's presented Ant and Dec with a picture that included funny messages which Ant proceeded to read out in front of the whole room.

IT WAS OUR TURN............

Our chaperone lead us backstage where we were able to warm up, mingle with celebs whilst all the time being filmed by ITV1 and ITV2.   The crowd seemed in good form as acts were performing even when unfortunatly some of them heard the dreaded buzzers!!! (Which were extremely loud and made everyone jump backstage!)

NERVES WERE RUNNING HIGH AS WE WERE ON NEXT...........

We were waiting in the wings being interviewed by Ant and Dec when the floor manager signalled us to enter the stage. Hands shaking, knees trembling we took to the stage to be greeted by Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Piers Morgan and the new judge Kelly Brook. Whilst on stage Simon Cowell asked us some questions before getting into our starting positions. The time had come, the music started......

Once the routine had finished we gathered around the centre spot as directed by the stage manager to answer questions from the panel. It was decided the time wasnt right for Pink Poison to continue on in the competition because they didnt feel we were ready.(As George Sampson was told the year before he won it!!)

After a few tears, we were consolled by all our supporters and it made us reflect on the amazing day we had just experienced.
We had a fantastic day, an experience we will never forget. We are looking forward to going back next year bigger and better!!

After all Pink Poison have got talent, we are International Champions!!

SPECIAL NOTE:

Brian and Kerrie would like to thank all the parents / guardians for their love and continued support. I think you will agree, a great day had by all!

Pink Poison have got TALENT . . . . .
The Pink Poison PeeWee squad recently took part in the hit Television programme 'Britains Got Talent'. They made it through the biggest rounds of auditions and got whittled down to the final rounds were they got to meet the famous judges!!! Unfortunatly this was the end of the road for them, but they did a fantastic job.

Through all the auditions which meant early mornings and late finishes the team held their heads high and did Studio10 proud. So due to their amazing performances, extremley good behaviour and mature attitudes during this process, we decided they deserved a treat......

So on Saturday 31st January 2009 Studio10 treated the Pink Poison Pee Wee squad to spend the day at Splashworld and McDonalds.

Everyone had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed the day! Below are some photos we took:
